HBF has now got naming rights for the event and are offering 15% discount on registration fees for HBF members.

Update March 23, 2009: A little ride report.  I rode down to the start at Kwinana on my Look 555 from Fremantle, getting there around 6:45 AM. Nice and early for the B start and early enough to get damn cold again.  Once the ride got started I settled into the ride, picking a group or two at various stages before settling into a group which had a few experienced riders in it. I pretty much stayed with them until the kick (hill) at the end of the Freeway where a few of us then dropped the group. Pacing is king :).  Overall I averaged 35.8 km/h over the 58.92 km course. A time of 1:38 hours. Given my 2008 time, I am pretty happy with this.  After the ride I rode back to Fremantle. All up 132.84 km for the day.

There are some photos from the ride here and more ride reports in the Australian Cycling Forums.

In 2008 I completed the 60 km on my 2007 Giant CRX 1 in two hours and seven minutes at an average of 27.7 km/h and rode back to Fremantle.  This year I will be looking at riding from Fremantle to the start and then back again from Joondalup as well as looking to complete the ride under two hours and of course on my 2008 Look 555.
