2009 Ride Journal – Monthly Summary

This posting details my cycling for 2009 on a month by month basis. It also reflects my goals for 2009, my achievements of same and my ups and downs as I continue the enjoyment and new challenges of bicycling. I will update this journal at the end of each month.

🙁 Failed on this one. Too many stronger riders ahead of me. I finished the year in 10th position.

4 Achieve an average speed of 23 km/h over the year December 31, 2009 🙂 Averaged speed for 2009 – 23.32 km/h

Rode a “mountain bike” in Bali, Indonesia. 26 km downhill. Does that count? 🙂
10 Reach my target weight and waist measurement by my 50th birthday

Instead of achieving this objective I went backwards. Time to refocus and move forward.
