I anticipate that this ride will be around 5,000 km in length and will take around two and half months as I travel through both the Northern Territory and Western Australia via Litchfield National Park on the way to Katherine and then swing west via the Keep River National Park to Kununurra, Wyndham, Gibb River Road, Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karijini National Park, Tom Price, Mt Augustus National Park, Morowa and then through the wheat belt back to Perth.
Whilst this is a personal journey it also an important opportunity for me to to draw attention to cerebral palsy and to raise funds for The Centre for Cerebral Palsy in Western Australia. My youngest son, Cameron has cerebral palsy so it makes all that much more important to draw awareness to the impact of cerebral palsy and in a small way to support the Centre.
If you would like to also consider donating to the work of the Centre you can do so via my fund raising page at EverydayHero. All donations go directly to The Centre for Cerebral Palsy in Western Australia.
If you also whish to follow the progress of the ride I will be keeping a journal of my progress at Crazy Guy On A Bike. There is an option to add a RSS feed. Of course I will also be on Twitter if you prefer that option.
