Colnago CF10 and V1-r racing bicycles have been recalled by Product Safety Recalls Australia in-cooperation with FRF Sports due to a possibility that the brake callipers may loosen or detach from the fork.
Colnago CF10 and V1-r Loosening Brakes
Product Safety Recalls Australia are advising that Colnago CF10 and V1-r bicycles and frame kits front brake callipers may loosen or detach from the fork during use.
It appears seem that the recall is limited to Colnago CF10 and V1-r bicycles and frame kits sold between August 1, 2014 and June 20, 2015. A list of the serial numbers of Colnago CF10 and V1-r bicycles subject to the recall can be downloaded from my Dropbox.
Colnago CF10 & V1-r Bicycle Recall: Action to take
If you have one of these Colnago CF10 or V1-r bikes you should return the bicycle to a dealer for a free inspection. In the event of the fork needing replacing this will be done free of charge.
