Product Safety Recalls AustraliaÂ in-conjunctionÂ with Oceania Bicycles Pty Ltd haveÂ announcedÂ the recall of certain models of Fuji Saratoga step-through bicyclesÂ due to a defect in the frame of the bicycles that could cause the frame to fracture and break in two. Such a failure can hurt badly.
Fuji Saratoga Bicycles Recalled
The Fuji Saratoga models affected by the recall are the Fuji Saratoga 2.0 and 3.0 Step-Through Bicycle (model year 2009) and Fuji Saratoga 1.0 and 2.0 Step-Through Bicycle (model year 2010). Â The bicycles will have serial numbers beginning with one of the followingÂ date/manufacturer codes ICFJ8, ICFJ9 or ICFJ10, as printed on the bottom of the bicycle frame near the pedal crank (turn the bike upside down).
The bicycles affected by the recall where sold between September 12, 2008 and April 9, 2010Â throughoutÂ Australia with the exception of South Australia, Australian Capital Territory Â and Tasmania.

If you bicycle is subject to the recall youÂ should stop riding the bicycle immediately and return it to the place of purchase or to the nearest Fuji dealer to have the frame and fork inspected and replaced if necessary.
