I recently had the pleasure of sharing a beer and a chat with Daniel. Daniel was picking my brain on my experience of riding the Munda Biddi Trail as he is planning to ride the Trail for eight days in November 2011 on a single speed mountain bike! Daniel is sure going for a serious challenge here.
But this is not just another ride, Daniel is raising money for the Autism Association of WA as his little boy has autism and he wishes to give a little back to the Association. Please consider supporting Daniel in his endeavours. You can do this via his support page at Everyday Hero.A little of Daniel’ story from the Everyday Hero website:
Three years ago my son Matthew was diagnosed with Autism. Since that day, as well as providing early intervention and support for Matthew, the Autism Association of WA has given us as parents the understanding and knowledge to keep going. I want to try and repay them in some way, so my challenge is to ride 8 days unsupported along the gruelling Munda Biddi trail – from the 5th to the 12th November – raising money for the Association through sponsorship.
I do hope you can see your way clear to support Daniel. His is a very nice guy trying to give a little bit back and hopefully contribute to a better understanding of autism.
