The City of Stirling is continuing its proactive approach to cycling and is offering two courses in September and October 2013. The first course is a “Learn to Ride” course and the other is “Cycling Confidence” course. Both courses are now open for enrollment. To enroll please complete the details requested and Joanne Burgess, the TravelSmart Officer at the City of Stirling will be in-touch to complete the process.
Learn to ride your bicycle with the City of Stirling
The Learn to Ride course is designed for adults who have never learnt to ride a bicycle, this workshop will teach you the basics of cycling safely and build your confidence on two wheels. Bikes and helmets are provided. The course consists of three half-day sessions. The cost is $45 for residents of the City of Stirling and $90 for non-residents.
The course is being offered on Saturday 7th, 14th and 21st September, 2013 9 AM to 12.30 PM at the City of Stirling Administration Centre in Stirling and on Monday 14th, 21st and 28th October, 2013 9 AM to 12.30 PM at the Carine Open Space.
Back on your bike/Cycling confidence workshop with the City of Stirling
Back on your bike/Cycling confidence workshop is suitable for adults who haven’t ridden a bicycle in many years, or those who are simply lacking cycling confidence. Bikes and helmets are provided. The workshop consists of two x half-day sessions at a cost of $30 for residents of the City of Stirling and at $60 for non-residents.
The workshop is being offered on Saturday 14th and 21st September, 2013 1 PM to 4.30 PM at the City of Stirling Administration Centre in Stirling and on Monday 21st and 28th October, 2013 1 PM to 4.30 PM at the Carine Open Space.
