The purpose of this series of posting is to summarise my week on the bike and exercising in general.Â My week runs from Friday to Thursday, so Week 27 for 2010 is from July 2, 2010 through to July 8, 2010.
Walking distance is based on the use of a Global Corporate Challenge pedometer and their calculation that 1,563 steps equals 1 km. The Challenge officially started on May 20, 2010.
In summary my statistics for the week are:
Exercise for the week:
I rode 429 km for a total for the year of 8,386 kilometres or 311 km per week average.Â My goal weekly average is 270 km so a comfortable buffer there at present. The highlight for the week was completing the Coolup Loop 200 km Audax ride (actually 235 km for me on the day).Â The balance of the kilometres was my regular commuting.
With respect toÂ BikeJournal my ranking at the week end was position 109 and in the Australian Cycling Forums Club I was sitting in eight place.
On the weight front, I started the year in a less than healthy position at 103 kg. My weight at the end of the week is 97.7 kg. Gained another 400 grams for some reason but the measurements are indicating I am ever so slowly shrinking so some positive news in there somewhere.Â My total weight loss for year is 5.4 kg.
