Munda Biddi Trail Diversions – Map 8 Walpole to Denmark Section

The Department of Environment and Conservation has announced that effective April 2013 three diversions are in place on the Munda Biddi Trail between Walpole and Denmark in the area of the Kent River bridge; William Bay National Park and Scotsdale Road.  Whilst every attempt is made to keep this blog up to date with the state of play on the Munda Biddi Trail riders of the Trail should also check the Department of Conservation Trail conditions and updates page before riding the Trail.

Kent River Bridge Diversion – Munda Biddi Trail

The Department of Environment and Conservation has diverted the Munda Biddi Trail south of Booner Mundak Campsite from Break Road where it crosses the Kent River. The diversion means that a 1.0 km length of single track has been closed and the Trail has been diverted along Break Road for 800 metres.

The Department of Environment and Conservation has advised that the original alignment of the Trail will remain closed until declared safe.

William Bay Diversion – Munda Biddi Trail

The Department of Environment and Conservation has diverted the Munda Biddi Trail between Greens Pool and LIghts Beach in the William Bay National Park. The diversion means that a 1.6 km length of the Trail has been closed and the Trail has been diverted 1.3 km.

The Department of Environment and Conservation has advised that the original alignment of the Trail will remain closed until declared safe.

Scotsdale Road Diversion – Munda Biddi Trail

The Department of Environment and Conservation has diverted the Munda Biddi Trail south of Jinung Beigabup Campsite. The diversion means that a 11 km length of the Trail has been closed and the Trail has been diverted further along Scotsdale Road and other local roads for 13.7 km.

The Department of Environment and Conservation has advised that the original alignment of the Trail will remain closed until declared safe.
