Bikerumor.com is reporting that Full Speed Ahead (FSA) has issued a voluntary recall on Gossamer Pro non-drive crack arms in the United Kingdom.

There is no information on the recall on FSA website or either of the UK distributors so it is unclear as to what further details are available, however, Bikerumor are reporting that:

FSA just announced a voluntary recall of all Gossamer BB30 non-drive crank arms following reports that the bolt shoulder can crack and break if the installer exceeds the recommended torque when tightening the crank bolt. Affected units have serial numbers beginning with 10B, 10C, and 10D.

Serial numbers are located on the backside of the crankarm by pedal threads. MegaExo crankarms and Gossamer BB30 Triple cranksets are not affected.

The Australian distributor for FSA is SCV Imports. I have contacted them for further information and will update this post if and when I hear from them.

Thanks to Bikerumor.com for the heads-up on this recall.
