Awoke this morning to the joyful sounds of the birds and my fellow campers at the Murray Campsite on the Bibbulmun Track. A pleasant cool morning. Two of our fellow walkers braved the waters of the Murray for a morning swim whilst the remainder of us enjoyed a relaxed chat over breakfast.
We broke camp later in the morning, enjoying the easy 4 km back to the cars. Once we got back to the cars we took Nanga Road back to Dwellingup in time for lunch at the Dwellingup Hotel. From there we went our own way home. All up a great weekend’s backpacking.
Once I got home, I jumped on Chase for my regular commute to Fremantle. Needed to get in sufficient kilometres to ensure I did 200 km for the week so diverted around Herdsman Lake first. A pleasant ride over into as always it seems, the Fremantle Doctor.
