TRAIL NOTE: Coastal Plains Walk Trail Shapcotts Campsite Re-opens!

The Department of Environment and Conservation has announced that after two years or more of no campsite (it was burnt down) Shapcotts has been re-opended with a new rammed earth shelter.

The Shapcotts Campsite is technically part of the Ghost House Walk Trail but does share its location with the Coast Plains Walk Trail.

It is a family friendly campsite being approximately 5 kilometres from the Yanchep National Park recreational area, so a nice walk for an overnight camp with the kids.
