The Grasmere Wind Farm has been expanded which has lead to changes to the Bibbulmun Track near Albany.  The Hidden Valley campsite will be relocated further west to remove it from the wind farm and it has in fact now been removed entirley and replaced with one of two new campsites, Muttonbird Campsite and Sand Patch Campsite. [Edit May 2013]

In addition to relocating the Hidden Valley Campsite, a new campsite is to be built between the Grasmere wind farm and Albany in the Tonndirrup National Park. Due to this new campsite, the walk through to the Torbay Campsite from Albany can be split into three days of about 13 kilometres each.

The changes are expected to be implemented inline with the completion of the Grasmere wind farm expansion in early 2012.

In the meantime there is a diversion in place to divert the Bibbulmun Track around the wind farm.
