OWNER REVIEW: Endura Coolmax Race Sock Road Test

Endura Coolmax Race Sock

I purchased a pack of three Endura Coolmax race socks from ProBikeKit for $9.47 in March 2011. Not really thinking about it, I got white socks but when I received them, I clicked that white really does not work for me as a cycling sock (they really do look ridiculous) so I decided to use them as running socks instead. So this review is of my use of the socks running rather than cycling.

I have been using these Endura Coolmax Race socks for about five months now, so here is my update on how I have found them. I have used three pair of these socks, sized L-XL which suits me as my shoe size is around Euro 43-45. . The socks are made from high stretch CoolMax Lycra and have a sports ankle cut.

They are claimed to be fast-wicking and being Coolmax material I would expect them to perform pretty well. I haven’t really put them to the test in a hot summer conditions but I have used them on warmer runs and they have performed well.

I find them a good fit, they don’t bunch or move around on my feet, there is no sign of piling or wear and they haven’t gone out of shape. So for me they are well priced sock and I would likely buy them again, just not in white 🙂
