A documentary, BÖIKZMÖIND, centred around the world of fixed-gear bikes in Bristol, England will was premiered in August 2011. The documentary attempts to explain how and why fixed-gear riding has grown so much in a city which, because of its hills, isn’t exactly suited to bikes with no gears. Its creators say it was originally envisaged to be a 10-minute short for submission to the Bicycle Film Festival, but it continued to expand along with the scene in Bristol.
