Bicycle Network (Bicycle Network Victoria) is conducting its second annual cycling participation survey again in 2012.
The Cycling Participation survey as being run by Bicycle Network can be found online here. There is no indication of the closing date for the survey but I would assume it should be completed as early as possible.
Cycling Participation Survey Background
Bicycle Network are conducting their annual survey cycling participation survey to measure the amount and type of bike riding in communities throughout Australia, and as such as many people as possible are encouraged to respond. Bicycle Network’s hope is that the answers to the survey will help improve conditions for bike riders everywhere and contribute to the Federal Government’s 2011-16 National Cycling Strategy.
This is the second year the Bicycle Network Cycling Participation survey has been conducted, and the results will be used to monitor the change in cycling participation based on the survey results.
Completion of the Cycling Participation Survey is confidential and individual results will not be shared with others. One person can answer for all people in the household. The survey takes about 5-10 minutes to complete depending on how many people live at your house.
Please consider completing the Cycling Participation survey. The more respondents the more robust the data on cycling participation and hopefully this will lead to better outcomes for all cyclists.
