The City of Stirling is extending its great cycle training programs to children in the upcoming October 2013 school holidays to training programs for children which are being rule by an accredited AustCycle teacher. The City of Stirling is offering three programs during the October school holidays.
Bike Control – training wheels
This program is suitable for children who want get off training wheels or those who have never learned to ride at all. It is a three session course being held on Monday 7th, Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th October, 2013 between 9 AM and 11 AM.
The bike control program is suitable for children who can already ride on two wheels. This course will improve your child’s bike handling skills and teach them to apply safety principals while riding. It is a three session course being held Monday 7th, Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th October, 2013 between 11.30 AM and 1.30 PM.
The road safety course is suitable for children aged 9 to 12 and the course is focused on improving bike handling and teaching road safety skills such as identifying hazards, scanning, signalling, negotiating intersections and riding in light traffic. It is a three session course being held on Monday 7th, Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th October, 2013 between 2 PM and 4 PM.
Registrations for the school holiday program must be made through Austcycle and not through the City of Stirling who cannot take your registration details.
