Polygon Zenith Town 3 Beach Cruiser Defect
Product Safety Recalls Australia are advising that the Polygon Zenith Town 3.0 Beach Cruiser bicycles as sold between September 1, 2014 and June 25, 2015 do not comply with AS/NZS 1927:2010 Pedal bicycles—Safety Requirements, Consumer Protection Notice Section 2.1.14. These Polygon bicycles was sold with a rear brake only and not a front brake as required by the requirements.
Polygon Zenith Town 3 Beach Cruiser Recall: Action to take
Owners of the Polygon Zenith Town 3 Beach Cruiser are advised to stop riding the bicycles until you receive your new front brake and it has been fitted. The recall notice is not clear on who is fitting the brakes or paying for it. I assume this information will be provided with the brakes.
